The project includes a total of 71 dwellings with the majority of the units being townhouses aimed at families. There are 9no. 4 storey 4 bed townhouses, 30no. 3 storey 3 bed townhouses, 10no. 4 storey 2 bed townhouses and 22no. 1 bed apartments.

The site is located on the South Western side of Manchester city centre which is a 15 minute walk away. The site is rectangular in shape and approximately 0.4 hectares in size. It is located adjacent to the southern boundary of the Castlefield Conservation Area. To the Eastern side of the site is the grade II* listed Church of St George which has been converted to apartments. Further along Ellesmere Street to the West are a number of old mill buildings built circa 1850, most of which have been converted to apartments.
