Eco Pod

Pod Space are now rapidly establishing their place in the Garden Rooms market as being the provider of superior quality garden rooms for a more discerning customer. We specify the highest quality materials and use the latest manufacturing techniques. Our design and manufacture team pay attention to every fine detail to ensure that each finished Pod is completed to the same high standards.

Our latest product to be unveiled is the Eco Pod which is remarkable for its striking design featuring a dual pitched roof, folding sliding doors and optional apex roof light to provide light and space.

At 7.2 x 3.5m the Eco Pod is the largest standard model in our range and it has features not found on any other garden room such as the stainless steel roof ties and steel panelled roof. Coupled with the Siberian larch cladding and colour matched aluminium folding sliding doors this adds to the contemporary design. We also uniquely feature colour matched aluminium flashings to our roof and cills for consistency through the design and seamless finish.

Of course being the Eco Pod we have paid attention to the Eco credentials without compromising on design or quality. As with all our Pods the timber specified throughout the structure is FSC certified, and we specify insulation in widths to exceed modern house standards. The folding sliding doors feature low E double glazing to further improve insulation and reduce energy consumption. Our Eco Pod also features low energy lighting and Scandinavian underfloor heating to ensure that energy consumption and running costs are low. The roof is finished with green guide “A” rated BRE steel panels that are manufactured to be carbon neutral. Internal finishes offer the option for white birch cladding which is FSC certified and a natural rubber flooring with excellent environmental credentials.
